Keeper Rules

  • Each year each team has the ability to keep up to 4 keepers.
  • Keeper Values are determined as follows:
    • Players drafted or kept in each year's fantasy draft, have a "base keeper value" the following season of the previous round that they were selected or kept (i.e. a player drafted in the 12th round can be kept the following season in the 11th round)
    • Players that are picked up via free agency, have a "base keeper value" the following season of the lesser of the 6th round and their drafted/kept "base keeper value"
    • Each time a player is traded, their keeper value will be reduced by 10% rounded up to the nearest round. For example:
      • Players with a "base keeper value" of round 1-10, will lose 1 round in keeper value
      • Players with a "base keeper value" of rounds 11-20, will lose 2 rounds in keeper value
      • Players with a "base keeper value" of rounds 21 & up, will lose 3 rounds in keeper value
  • Each team can keep a maximum of 1 keeper acquired via trade.
    • If a team chooses to keep two (or more) players with the same keeper value, they must choose a keeper to move up to the previous round. For example:
      • 2 10th round keepers turns into 1 9th round & 1 10th round keeper
